Software Engineer – Cloud & Big Data Platform

What You'll Be Working On

You’ll contribute to the development and maintenance of a secure, scalable data platform built on Kubernetes. This includes:

• Building intuitive self-service portals for managing data clusters.
• Automating patching, configuration, logging, and monitoring workflows.
• Developing front-end interfaces for user-defined configurations.
• Enabling secure, multi-datacenter data store operations.

Tech Stack Highlights

• Languages & Frameworks: Java, Spring Boot, Angular
• Platform Technologies: Kubernetes, Docker, Cilium, ArgoCD, Keycloak, Vault, GitLab
• Data Technologies: PostgreSQL, Kafka

What You Bring

Required:

• 5+ years of experience with Java (within the last 7 years)
• 5+ years working in Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps environments
• 3+ years with Spring (cloud-native Java)
• 3+ years with container platforms (Kubernetes and/or Docker)

Preferred:

• Experience designing technical architectures for complex applications
• Hands-on with big data clusters and technologies like PostgreSQL and Kafka
• Familiarity with public/private cloud platforms (K8s, AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience with HashiCorp Vault

Language Requirement

Dutch fluency (spoken and written) is essential for this role.
