Job Description

Our client is looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join their team, where you’ll play a key role in enhancing and supporting a global accounting platform used across several locations worldwide. In this role, you will focus on translating business needs into technical solutions, ensuring the platform runs efficiently and integrates seamlessly with other systems.

Your responsibilities will include analyzing defined business requirements, designing and developing infrastructure and software solutions, and supporting system integrations. You will also produce financial and management reports, guide solution direction and application design decisions, and collaborate closely with end users across front office, back office, and IT.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or higher professional degree in IT or Software Engineering
• 4+ years of professional experience in software development
• Strong expertise in C#/.NET and SQL Server
• Experience in financial services; knowledge of accounting is a plus
• Familiarity with Geneva, RSL, or RDL is an advantage
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data structures
• Consulting mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
• Experience working in Agile teams
• Self-motivated, well-organized, and a collaborative team player
• Strong communication skills in English
• Willingness to travel
