Our software plays a vital role in the automation of maritime and intermodal terminal operations. By connecting complex systems and logic, we help optimize container handling equipment, IT systems, and operational resources.

Our core product, Port Automation & Security System, acts as a middleware platform that bridges various subsystems with Terminal Operating Systems. Today, our product is trusted by over 50 terminals in 30 ports across 25 countries, where we provide 24/7 remote and on-site support. Beyond the port industry, we also develop intelligent solutions for truck parking management and warehouse operations, bringing our expertise in automation to a wider range of logistics environments.

About the Role
You will be responsible for building backend solutions, maintaining the build pipeline, and implementing Docker environments. You'll approach challenges with a pragmatic, hands-on attitude, possess excellent analytical thinking, and enjoy understanding how your work contributes to the bigger picture.

Since English is the primary language of communication, excellent written and spoken English is required. This role requires occasional visits to our office, so candidates must reside in the Netherlands.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend components for the application.
• Set up and manage the build pipeline for seamless deployment.
• Configure and implement Docker environments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and performance.
• Collaborate closely with the team, sharing knowledge and ideas to deliver impactful solutions.

What We're Looking For
Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (HBO/WO) or equivalent experience.
• Strong command of English (spoken and written).

Experience

• 3-5 years of professional experience in developing information systems.
• 3-5 years of experience writing technical documentation.
• 3-5 years of proven C# programming experience. gained through employment or completed projects.

Technical Skills & Knowledge

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum).
• Experience writing complex SQL queries and working with stored procedures.
• Proficiency in at least one Microsoft-based programming language.
• Understanding of hardware platforms, operating systems, and protocols.
• Experience with XML, HTML, CSS, and unit testing.
