As an AI Apps Solution Engineer, you’ll help customers boost productivity and become AI-native.

As an Solution Engineer AI& Apps (SE), you will play a pivotal role in helping enterprise AI developers unlock the full potential of Microsoft’s AI-powered stack across every stage of the development lifecycle. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering leaders and platform teams to accelerate AI Foundry, Azure AI, and Responsible AI, through hands-on engagements like Proof of Concepts, hackathons, and architecture workshops. This opportunity will allow you to accelerate your career growth, develop deep business acumen, hone your technical skills, and become adept at solution design and deployment. You’ll guide customers through secure, scalable solution design, influence technical decisions, and accelerate AI applications development into their deployment workflows. Responsibilities

  • You will engage with and reaches out to customers with coaching and guidance from others and develop an understanding of current customer context and anticipate next steps as well as drive technical wins with support from peers.
  • You will engage other resources, leveraging basic resource knowledge for key areas of technology as needed to overcome technical blockers on assigned technology set.
  • You will engage in partner sell-with scenarios, build your awarenss of parter technical capacity through observation and review customer interactions to raise competitive information and contribute to the product strategy by soliciting and communication customer feedback.
  • You will tailor Microsoft standard messaging to the aidience using knowledge of specific Microsoft products and contribute to demonstrations of soluitons and present reference architecture to partners or customers for key parts of their technology sets.
  • You will build your own awareness of digital transformation sales methodoligies and consume and levrage readienss materials to expand your domain knowledge and practice expertise as you promote readiness to internal teams and actively participate as a member of the Microsoft tech community.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications (RQs)

  • 1+ year(s) Technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience 
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
    • OR equivalent experience
  • Fluent in English AND in one of the following languages: Croatian, Serbian, or Slovenian.
Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

  • Demonstrated experience with cloud, hybrid, or on-premises infrastructure—including architecture design, migrations, adherence to industry standards, and technology management.
  • Solid understanding of the Agentic AI framework and AI management and security practices (e.g., Gen AI Ops, Microsoft Sentinel, Responsible AI, orchestration, and monitoring).
  • Familiarity with one or more development frameworks, tools, or languages such as GitHub, Copilot Studio, Visual Studio Code, Jupyter, PyCharm, Node.js, Python, Java, C#, C++, and AI-assisted development tools.
  • Knowledge of AI and machine learning model principles, including frameworks and tools like the Agentic AI framework, AI Foundry, Semantic Kernel, LangChain, Foundry SDK, Responsible AI practices, and techniques such as fine-tuning and inferencing.
