Our Corporate Finance team advises top-tier clients on some of the most exciting and complex transactions in the market. From mergers and acquisitions (M&A), business valuations, debt advisory to capital raising, we are trusted advisors to decision-makers at the highest level.

We are currently seeking a Senior Associate / Junior Manager to strengthen our team in Ljubljana. This role is ideal for ambitious professionals with 3–5 years of experience who want to combine their financial expertise with leadership responsibilities in a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, transaction services, or a related area.
  • Strong understanding of valuation and modelling, M&A experience is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage junior team members and interact with senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Native in Slovene and fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Enrollment in or completion of Certified Business Valuer (CBV / POVP) / CFA or similar certifications is an advantage.
  • Ambition, commercial mindset, analytical excellence, and a collaborative spirit.

Your future role

As a Senior Associate / Junior Manager in our Corporate Finance team, you will:

  • Independent work on financial analysis, valuations, and the preparation of transaction materials for M&A deals, debt advisory, and capital raising projects.
  • Participate in managing projects and guide junior colleagues, ensuring high-quality deliverables and on-time execution.
  • Start direct interaction with clients to provide insights and solutions on strategic financial issues.
  • Support the origination and execution of new business opportunities, including market research, client pitches, and business development initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with Deloitte colleagues across Central Europe and globally, gaining exposure to international best practices and large-scale transactions.
