About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and curious Junior Data Scientist to join our high-impact Data Science team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to grow technical skills and apply data science to solve real business problems. You will collaborate closely with experienced data scientists, data engineers, and business stakeholders to support analytics initiatives and contribute to building data-driven solutions. What You Will Do

  • Support the development of data science solutions, including exploratory analyses, predictive models, and reporting tools.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to deliver insights that inform product, marketing, operations, and strategic decisions.
  • Participate in the design, execution, and analysis of experiments (e.g., A/B testing).
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of data pipelines and feature engineering workflows.
  • Assist in building, evaluating, and deploying machine learning models under the guidance of senior data scientists.
  • Communicate data-driven findings through clear reports, visualizations, and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Follow best practices for coding, documentation, and version control.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and analysts, to ensure solutions meet business needs.
  • Stay up to date with new tools, methodologies, and industry trends in data science and machine learning.


What You Need to Succeed

  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Solid foundation in Python for data analysis and modeling.
  • Proficiency in SQL and working with structured data.
  • Basic understanding of statistical concepts, hypothesis testing, and machine learning fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, or equivalent).
  • Enthusiasm for learning new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to present results clearly.
  • Experience working on projects either through coursework, internships, or personal projects.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.


Bonus Points For

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
  • Exposure to machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Understanding of basic MLOps concepts or pipelines.
  • Knowledge of Jupyter Notebooks and data storytelling practices.


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of professional experience in data science, analytics, or related roles (internships and academic projects count!).
