About The Opportunity

We’re looking for a curious, hands‑on AI UX/UI Design intern to support the transformation of our in‑house design agency as part of our Zurich AI Lab. You’ll help test AI tools, document simple workflows, and assist with UX and UI activities across the design workflow using AI tools and testing them to identify the best suitable tool for us. This role is ideal for someone passionate about human-centered design, digital products, and crafting engaging user experiences.. This role is about learning by doing, with close guidance from senior team members.

What you’ll do

• Research and document emerging AI tools relevant to UX/UI design, prototyping, and user research.
• Test AI-powered solutions (e.g., for design, wireframing, usability, content generation) and assess their potential in real workflows.
• Contribute to experimentation with innovative design methods and toolchains.
• Support the team in documenting test results, use cases, and opportunities for scaling AI solutions.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, service designers, and developers to identify areas where AI can enhance design practices.
• Help create internal knowledge resources (guides, case studies, toolkits) for design teams adopting AI tools.
  
  

What you’ll bring

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Design, Digital Media, Human-Computer Interaction, or related fields.
• Strong interest in AI, design innovation, and emerging technologies.
• Basic knowledge of UX/UI design principles and tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
• Curiosity to explore and test new tools, with the ability to evaluate usability and efficiency. Strong visual sense and understanding of brand, layout and storytelling.
• Comfortable working with creative and multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Curious, experimental mindset with a focus on measurable outcomes and continuous learning.
• Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical colleagues.
