The candidate who succeeds in this role will be responsible for assessing the current state, identifying improvement opportunities, designing and implementing UX/UI solutions, and driving the aesthetic and functional evolution of the portal.

In this position, it will also be essential to coordinate and support the growth of a junior internal resource, ensuring proper task distribution, providing mentorship, and guaranteeing the quality of deliverables.

The individual will also be expected to work independently within the organization, engaging with various company departments to gather input, understand requirements, and validate proposals.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate the current user experience and interface of the portal, identifying areas for improvement;
• Conduct UX research (interviews, user analysis, usability testing, analytics) to guide design decisions;
• Design high-quality wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes;
• Create and maintain a design system consistent with the brand identity;
• Work closely with front-end developers, product owners, and business stakeholders;
• Coordinate and support a junior internal resource by providing guidelines, mentorship, and reviewing work;
• Conduct workshops and meetings with company departments to gather requirements and validate solutions;
• Oversee the entire design lifecycle: from research to delivery, through to post-release monitoring;
• Ensure that solutions are scalable, accessible, and optimized for all devices.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design for complex web portals or digital products;
• Strong skills in user research and usability testing;
• Excellent command of design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or equivalents);
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and understanding of front-end development processes;
• Experience in managing, coordinating, or mentoring junior profiles;
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with stakeholders across different departments;
• Attention to detail and strong aesthetic sensitivity, combined with a data-driven approach;
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
