The Senior Delivery Fulfillment manager is responsible initiates and drives logistics strategies for operational excellence while managing KPIs by overseeing the day-to-day activities of Delivery & Fulfillment. Takes lead for strategy and ensure OTD out of the warehouses, Lead the Swedish Fulfillment and logistics organization through world-class management of one full service warehouses and global transportation services originating from Sweden. Leads and coordinates all fulfillment and logistic activities between multiple facilities and to end customers. Will lead the Sweden Delivery & fulfillment organization to support manufacturing operations, site-to-site transportation and finished goods shipping. Candidate will be expected to integrate and continuously evolve state-of-the-art logistics transport tools creating a foundation to develop high throughput which will support an aggressive Cepheid ramp-up of manufacturing and sales. Job will have responsibility to strictly manage costs to a budget model agreed to by executive staff. This position requires ability to continuously identify opportunities for continuous improvement and to proactively identify and react to changes in business conditions that could negatively impact safety, service and cost. this role will report to the Director Fulfillment & Logistics Sweden.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

• Leading the effort to ensure a comprehensive approach to identify, manage, monitor, and control fulfilment risks
• Actively use DBS at all locations of responsibility
• Ensure the organization is compliant with Health and Safety and all other legal and financial requirements and transaction flows
• Drive Continuous Business Improvements through all aspects of business Anticipate and articulate business justification to management for additional headcount drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Analyze distribution flows and determine the most cost effective and/or efficient means of transporting goods
• Coach, mentor, train and collaborate with managers to continually develop teams
• Negotiate with suppliers’ providers to improve supply chain efficiency
• Ensure teams are efficient and accurate with administration and management of all shipping documents
• Anticipate need for delivery service in new locations
• Attend international meetings as determined to be necessary
• Conducts multiple formal performance reviews each year with direct reports
  
  

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

• University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business management or related field
• OR equivalent skills acquired from work experience
• 7+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain in a wide spectrum of Freight forwarding, Local and National warehousing, Distribution, Customs compliance, Customer service and 3PL management.
• Experience in managing people.
