The Role

We're looking for a Back End Developer to join the international team behind the development of a crypto exchange platform. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, secure APIs and services that power the core of the platform. You'll integrate smart contracts, manage wallet interactions, and ensure seamless backend performance across blockchain and database systems.

What You'll Do

Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Python
Develop and integrate APIs that interact with blockchain networks and smart contracts using tools like Web3.js or Ethers.js
Connect and manage wallet integrations to enable seamless user authentication and transaction flows
Collaborate with the front-end team to define and support end-to-end user experiences
Manage and optimize relational and non-relational databases
Ensure application security, reliability, and performance by applying backend best practices

What You Bring To The Table

Strong experience with Python and FastAPI
Solid knowledge of SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
Proficient with Redis for caching and data handling
Understanding of backend architecture, API development, and database optimization
Experience with DevOps tools and practices e.g. Docker, CI/CD, cloud infra, etc. will be a great advantange
You're based in Europe - MUST
Nice to have familiarity with blockchain, smart contracts, or Web3 tools

What You'll Get

A salary of $4000-$5000 / month
Payment in stablecoin USDT/USDC or in fiat if you have a registered company where you're the sole proprietor/freelancer
