Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Android Developer responsible for developing and maintaining applications for a wide range of Android devices. Your primary focus will be building Android applications and integrating them with back-end services. You will collaborate closely with other engineers and developers working on various infrastructure layers. A strong commitment to teamwork, sophisticated design, and delivering high-quality products is essential.

Responsibilities:

Convert designs and wireframes into high-quality code.

Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Java/Kotlin code.

Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.

Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs.

Maintain code quality, structure, and automation practices.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proficiency in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose and Java.

Familiarity with Design Patterns, particularly MVVM architecture.

Solid understanding of Android SDK, various Android versions, and handling different screen sizes.

Experience working with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.

Knowledge of Android Architecture Components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, etc.).

Interest in learning and applying Test-Driven Development (TDD).

Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.

Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance optimization.

Familiarity with Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines.

Proficient in version control tools such as Git.

Bonus: Experience with payment systems.
