What You Will Do
As a student analyst at Veyt, you will work on your own tasks and projects, develop your own ideas and will contribute significantly to our products. You work closely with our experienced analyst team to create and shape our modelling environment, maintain and improve our analysis platform or research the latest developments on the policy side.
We offer our students a high degree of flexibility, accounting for your university schedule – you can organize your working hours independently.
Typical work includes data management and validation, data research, handling of external data such as implementation of data into our data system, and support in the improvement of our predictive models and visual presentation of such. Your work will give you exposure to Veyt’s comprehensive research, data, and tools, as well as our can-do culture, performing different types of analysis to extract relevant insights/findings.
We seek enthusiastic students who aim to advance their knowledge, skills and careers in data and policy analytics and insights of carbon and renewable energy markets. Ideally, you have some prior knowledge of environmental and/or energy markets and policy.
What you will need:
- Enrollment in a master’s or other relevant advance degree during 2026 term.
- Intellectual curiosity, with the ability to develop creative solutions and strategies to solve problems
- Embracing best practices and feedback for continuous improvement
- Comfort taking direction from experts and senior executives, and ability to build trust-based, value-added relationships quickly
- Being a true team-player with full commitment to the success of your team
- Positive mindset with a learning attitude in the face of challenges
- Advantageous is first experience and/or knowledge of biofuels and biofuel markets (e.g. maritime and aviation), the decarbonization challenge of maritime and aviation, strong interest in low- and zero carbon fuels
