We are looking for aJunior Full Stack Developerto join a design and development team. You will help maintain and develop bespoke applications, implement new product features, and enhance existing functionality.
This role requires you to stay at the forefront of modern technologies, industry news, and security best practices. We are looking for someone eager to learn, committed to development, and excited to contribute to a close-knit team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with incoming support requests, acting as 2nd line to investigate bugs and data issues.
- Identify potential bugs and record them in detail on project tracking software.
- Resolve identified bugs, isolating code changes from other issues.
- Implement new development requests with well-written, maintainable code.
- Write code in a style consistent with existing projects.
- Extensively test code across different use cases, comment appropriately, and produce testing guidelines.
- Manage workload through project management software, communicating with multiple teams to prioritise tasks within fixed development cycles.
- Solid fundamentals in web security.
- Understanding of source control, ideally Git.
- Technical skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Angular, HTML, CSS, and MySQL.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with management and support teams.
- Willingness to learn and adapt practices in a changing industry.
- Ability to work to security best practices and company policies to ensure quality and compliance.
- Degree in Computer Science.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, services, and security.
- Prior web development experience (applications, websites, or WordPress).
- PHP or other programming languages.
