Raise is currently hiring a Front-End iOS App Developer on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, is one of the largest electrical energy suppliers in Canada.

Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an Independent classification, where applicable.

Description

The Front-End iOS App Developer in this role will join a dynamic team that creates innovate solutions to help employees at the organization work safer and more efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in workshops to understand client goals, present user research findings, and gather feedback on proposed user experiences.
  • Create solution design documents, operational guides, and configuration documents.
  • Collaborate with external technical teams to implement and configure custom mobile applications.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Build, test, and review mobile applications; coordinate delivery across technical and development teams; and monitor E2E delivery following the architectural direction and technical design approved by the developer lead, industry best practices, and ’s standards and guidelines.
  • Establish and maintain the operations framework by performing operational routine sustainment activities and bug fixes efficiently and on time to support multiple project and sustainment teams across the organization.
  • Manage mobile application change requests, address Tier 3 incidents, and update the mobile app use case inventory to centralize the administration and support of different mobile applications
  • Lead design thinking workshops with the customer to gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications to support business operations and projects in achieving ’s organizational objectives.
  • Review and analyze existing mobile solutions and assist with researching, evaluating and recommending COTS apps, innovations, and related hardware and software to continuously improve mobile solutions
  • Define and maintain custom mobile app delivery SDLC and COTS mobile app sustainment procedures to accelerate and guide future mobile application development initiatives.
  • Provide ongoing guidance and expertise on the design and support of mobile infrastructure to functional, technical, and consulting teams as required to continuously build mobile development capability

Qualifications

3 years of experience developing mobile applications using Swift and SAP UI5 technologies.

  • Hands-on experience with SAP’s iOS SDK and Mobile Development Kit (MDK).
  • Proven ability to design and develop SAP Fiori applications.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, OData services, and containerized environments.
  • Ability to translate client requirements into intuitive form-based workflows and role-based access.
  • Comfortable iterating on designs and solutions in an Agile Scrum environment.
  • Self-directed with strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SAP Mobile Services, SAP Service & Asset Manager and Dynamic Forms.
    • Familiarity with SAP Build Work Zone and SAP Mobile Start.
    • Exposure to GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflows.
    • Experience with Node.js, or TypeScript is a plus.
  • Education and Skills
    • Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
Additional Information

  • Every contractor must supply their own Windows 10 or 11 Laptop computer for the duration of the assignment.
  • Every contractor must supply their own “Smart Phone”. This is needed to gain access to the Organizations network.
