Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

In this role, you will help bridge the gap between development and operations by ensuring reliable, scalable, and efficient delivery of software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement modern automation practices, and manage cloud infrastructure to support continuous improvement in an agile environment.

Job Description
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team in Toronto. In this role, you will help bridge the gap between development and operations by ensuring reliable, scalable, and efficient delivery of software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement modern automation practices, and manage cloud infrastructure to support continuous improvement in an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous integration and deployment.
- Automate infrastructure and deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Manage and monitor cloud environments (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker) to ensure performance and availability.
- Troubleshoot pipeline and infrastructure issues, collaborating with development teams to resolve challenges.
- Implement security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Monitor system health and application performance, configuring dashboards and alerts for proactive issue detection.
- Contribute to agile ceremonies, promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK).
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools (GitLab or similar).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Datadog, Prometheus, or similar).
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps environment
