Senior UX/UI Designer (Contract – Mobile Focus)

Role Description

This is a 1-month remote contract role for a Senior UX/UI Designer (Mobile Focus). The designer will be responsible for adapting Carelancer’s desktop-first web app for mobile screens and refreshing the overall design style. The focus is on ensuring existing flows work seamlessly on mobile while applying a modern, intuitive, and visually consistent interface.

Responsibilities

• Review the current web app and translate existing flows into mobile-friendly layouts
• Refresh colors, typography, and UI elements to modernize the app
• Create mobile-specific wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity UI designs
• Ensure design consistency across mobile and desktop versions
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams for smooth handoff
• Deliver a final design package ready for development

Qualifications

• Proven senior-level experience in UX and UI design, with a strong focus on mobile-first adaptation
• Demonstrated ability to translate desktop flows into mobile-friendly designs
• Strong skills in wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity UI design
• Expertise in Figma (required)
• Deep understanding of UX best practices, interaction design, and responsive principles
• Ability to quickly iterate and refine designs based on feedback
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with product and engineering teams remotely
• Experience in marketplaces, healthcare, or service-based platforms is a plus
• Degree in Design, HCI, or related field, or equivalent senior-level work experience
