This role offers the opportunity to lead end-to-end digital product and web experience design in a fast-growing, purpose-driven environment. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to craft intuitive, visually compelling, and highly usable interfaces. The role combines research, strategy, and execution, allowing you to translate complex insights into elegant, production-ready designs while maintaining design system consistency. You will own both user experience and visual design, contribute to brand development, and drive solutions that have meaningful impact on client products. This position is fully remote but requires alignment with North American time zones, offering autonomy, flexibility, and a collaborative international team. Ideal candidates are craft-obsessed, research-driven, and skilled in translating insights into actionable design solutions.

Accountabilities

As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will:

  • Lead product and web experience design, including information architecture, interaction design, and UI
  • Create detailed user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity interfaces, and interactive prototypes for testing and handoff
  • Partner with engineering teams to visually QA UI during implementation
  • Lead end-to-end website projects, considering structure, UX, responsive UI, web performance, SEO basics, and accessibility standards
  • Maintain and evolve design systems, translating brand strategy into consistent UI patterns, typography, color, grids, and motion
  • Conduct user research, interviews, surveys, and usability testing, synthesizing insights into actionable recommendations
  • Communicate design vision, product strategy, and research findings to cross-functional teams and clients
  • Champion accessible, high-performing, and customer-centered design practices across projects


Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of experience in UI and UX design for web and mobile products
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating consumer-facing digital experiences
  • Expert-level proficiency with Figma, prototyping tools, and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Experience creating, managing, and evolving design systems
  • Solid knowledge of user-centric design principles, web/mobile design standards, and best practices
  • Familiarity with Webflow, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Tailwind) for collaboration with developers
  • Experience conducting UX research and translating insights into actionable design solutions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in English
  • Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams


Bonus skills:

  • Startup experience or experience mentoring designers and establishing processes
  • Knowledge of SEO, web optimization, and accessibility standards
  • Familiarity with Generative AI in design workflows
