Job Summary

We’re looking for a Backend Java Developer to support our team in Singapore. Key Responsibilities

• Work within a team of 2–6 software engineers to develop and maintain software.
• Participate in the implementation, integration, testing, and deployment phases of project delivery.
• Review and contribute to technical design and documentation, including design reviews.
• Execute and report assigned project tasks across the development cycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Ensure software quality and adherence to processes and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in payments, financial services, internet-based services, or software products.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Java (Spring Boot preferred)
• Linux / Unix environments
• Source control tools (preferably Git)
• Agile methodologies
• Object-oriented design and analysis
• Database design (Oracle/MySQL)
• BPM tools such as Camunda (a plus)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-cultural, and dynamic environment.
• Adaptability in dealing with uncertainty and change.
