Associate Business Analyst

Role Overview

As a Junior Payments Business Analyst, resource will have to support the development and enhancement of payment systems and digital banking platforms. Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyse payment workflows, and prepare a detailed requirement document. This role is ideal for someone with foundational experience in financial services and a keen interest in payment technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements for payment solutions (e.g., FAST, PayNow, SWIFT, cross-border payments)
• Analyze current payment processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and product owners in agile teams.
• Translate business needs into user stories and functional specifications.
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by preparing test cases and validating results.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payment regulations across APAC countries.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Around 1 year of experience in business analysis, preferably in banking or fintech
• Familiarity with payment systems and transaction banking
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
