Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Software & DevOps Engineer with a strong background in software engineering (PHP or Python), CI/CD, and AWS-based cloud operations. In this role, you will design and deliver scalable solutions, implement modern DevOps practices, and collaborate with remote engineering teams to ensure efficient software delivery and reliable operations.

What You’ll Do

Software Engineering (40%)

• Design and develop robust, secure, and high-performance software solutions in PHP or Python.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
• Support scalability and performance optimization across platforms.

DevOps & CloudOps (40%)

• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
• Oversee deployment processes and manage AWS cloud environments.
• Implement infrastructure automation, monitoring, and alerting for reliability.
• Champion DevOps practices to improve speed and quality of releases.

Collaboration & Teamwork (20%)

• Collaborate with remote engineering teams (India-based) and internal stakeholders.
• Participate in sprint planning, task estimation, and technical discussions.
• Provide guidance and technical input to junior team members when required.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Solid professional software engineering background with expertise in PHP or Python.
• Proven experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS infrastructure.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of networking, IT security, and scalable system design.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with E-Commerce, B2B, or B2C systems.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
