Overview

The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and troubleshooting network systems to ensure stability, security, and efficiency. With over 7 years of experience, the ideal candidate will have expertise in Palo Alto, Fortinet, and VPN technologies. This role involves collaborating with team members to maintain and enhance the network infrastructure, addressing any issues promptly, and ensuring optimal performance.

Responsibilities

  • Design and Implementation: Architect, implement, and manage complex network systems to meet business and security requirements.
  • Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor network performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal operation.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT professionals to integrate network solutions with other systems and applications.
  • Security Management: Implement and manage robust network security measures to protect against cyber threats and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and learning environment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and proactively suggest improvements to enhance network infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in network engineering.
  • Proficiency in network protocols(OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)
  • Extensive experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, Meraki, and VPN technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience with voice\collaboration technologies is beneficial
  • Relevant certifications are highly desirable.
  • Must be willing and able to obtain applicable gaming licenses
