WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
In this role, you’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business to build strong relationships and provide valuable insights that drive decision making. You’ll develop and refine predictive models, implement innovative solutions, and mine data to identify the key metrics that support the long-term success of the business. Staying up to date with industry best practices, policies and emerging trends, you’ll ensure data is handled ethically and securely while delivering analytics with objectivity and minimal bias. By challenging assumptions, both your own and the business’s you’ll help shape robust, data-driven strategies that make a real impact.
JUNIOR DATA SCIENTIST – ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Self-motivated, proactive, and strong problem-solving skills
- Customer-focused approach, keeping business needs central to analytical decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Extensive analytical experience, with proficiency in R/Python and SQL
- Strong understanding of dataset capabilities and limitations; able to separate signal from noise
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Knowledge of version control, code auditing, collaboration and documentation tools (e.g. Git/Bitbucket, Jira, Docker)
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Oracle)
