My client, a global leader in marketing procurement, are looking for a Global Head of Software Development to shape and deliver their technology strategy across the US, Europe, and Asia.
This senior leadership role is pivotal in scaling engineering capability, driving platform evolution, and supporting growth. You’ll be responsible for building distributed teams, setting the product and vendor strategy, and taking embedded technology platforms to a standalone, client-ready product offering.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the global technology strategy across creative production and procurement operations.
- Lead distributed engineering teams (c.100+ engineers across the US, EU, and APAC),
- Manage P&L and budgets for global engineering operations, including vendor and outsourcing partnerships.
- Drive technology integrations, platform consolidations, and data migrations during acquisitions.
- Ensure technology meets security and compliance requirements (SOC2, ISO, client audits).
- Collaborate closely with the CTO and executive stakeholders, influencing board-level decisions and representing technology with clients.
- Shape the roadmap to evolve existing platforms into scalable, standalone products.
Experience Required
- Proven leadership at scale (75–100+ engineers), ideally across global distributed teams.
- Strong background in SaaS, MarTech, procurement platforms, or large-scale tech-enabled services.
- Deep understanding of software architecture, modern development practices, and Microsoft technology stack.
- Track record in technology integration.
- Executive stakeholder management, with the ability to engage C-suite, board, and client audiences.
- Experience driving compliance and governance in enterprise environments.
