762 Interactive is looking for a Technical Lead to join our studio and help bring to life Project Kingpin- an ambitious and fresh take on crime-strategy games. We’re searching for someone with strong leadership capabilities, deep technical abilities & a passion for delivering awesome projects. You’ll be the technical backbone of the studio, overseeing architecture, ensuring code quality, and mentoring developers. This role requires both hands-on coding and leadership skills. 


This is a remote position.

Responsibilities 

  • Design and develop architectural proposals and guide the vision for engine systems, ensuring they meet desired functionality and performance standards. 
  • Propose tools or technologies that could enhance the ability to delivery great engine systems support. 
  • Own and drive engine topics and subsequent decision making. 
  • Propose and implement solutions to the challenges of performance and scale. 
  • Oversee code reviews, workflows, and best practices. 
  • Identify technical risks and propose solutions. 
  • Stay up-to-date on game dev tools and industry trends. 
  • Collaborate closely with design, art, and production teams to integrate features. 
  • Lead and mentor a team of developers (Unity/C# focus). 
  • Cultivate the team culture in line with the company’s values and goals. 


Requirements 

  • 6+ years of professional game development experience, with 1+ year of leadership/mentorship role. 
  • Strong proficiency with Unity and C#. 
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in one or more engine related focus areas, including but not limited to: rendering, tools, physics, asset/build pipeline..etc. 
  • System architecture skills. 
  • Ability to debug and optimize code. 
  • Can think and work creatively while taking the initiative to solve problems. 
  • Solid understanding of performance optimization, memory management, and debugging. 
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-discipline. 
  • Self-motivated, strong work ethic, and able to work independently. 
  • Drive towards professional growth. 
  • Fluent in Portuguese; English for daily communication with U.S. leadership. 


Nice To Have 

  • Experience with strategy / sim / management games is very welcome. 
  • Familiarity with analytics, telemetry, or live-ops systems.
