The Senior Manager – DevOps & Infrastructure at Sympli is a key leadership role, ensuring our platform is secure, reliable, and scalable as we grow. Reporting to the CTO, you’ll lead a passionate DevSecOps team, driving continuous improvement across AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.

This role blends leadership with hands-on impact, shaping technical direction, fostering a culture of ownership, and collaborating across teams. What you’ll do

·        Lead and mentor the DevOps/Infrastructure team, promoting continuous improvement.

·        Design, build, and maintain secure, resilient, and highly available infrastructure.

·        Collaborate with development teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and environments.

·    Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for rapid incident detection and resolution (AWS, NewRelic).

·        Participate in on-call rotation, manage incidents, and conduct post-mortems for prevention.

·        Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities, automating patching and maintenance processes.

·        Work with security and compliance teams to meet regulatory standards.

·        Drive automation to reduce operational toil.

·        Manage costs, vendors, and operational risks.

What we’re looking for

·        8+ years in DevOps/Infrastructure leadership, including AWS and regulated SaaS environments

·        3+ years managing teams

·        Strong experience in cost/vendor management, ITIL, and change management

·        Cloud & Infra: AWS (RDS/MSSQL, ECS, VPC, IAM, networking)

·        Infrastructure as Code: Terraform

·        CI/CD: GitHub Actions, CodeBuild, Octopus, Jenkins

·        Containers: Docker, ECS

·        Monitoring: NewRelic

·        Scripting/Automation: Python, Bash, PowerShell

·        Resilience & Continuity: BCP & DR testing

·        Security & Compliance: ISO-27001, OWASP, vulnerability management
