The Why

The purpose of the DevOps Engineering Role at Ubank is to help develop quality technical solutions that meet both business and customer needs. This involves writing and maintaining infrastructure as code, ci/cd pipelines as well as working with our security, engineering and architecture teams to solve challenging business problems.

This role aims to empower our engineering teams by providing a stable, secure and fast platform upon which they can deliver new features for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Writing and maintaining and testing code in Go and Python to support our infrastructure platform.
• Writing and maintaining and testing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Patching and Upgrading our Infrastructure Platform.
• Collaborating with development teams to improving the speed and stability of CI/CD Pipelines.
• Releasing working, tested changes into production.
• Supporting the application in production and addressing any issues that arise.
  
  

Your Experience

• 2-4 years of experience as a DevOps engineer.
• Experience with Cloud Infrastructure and Networking. (AWS or Microsoft Azure)
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling (Including Terraform Infrastructure as Code)
• Understanding of software testing and security principles and best practices including OWASP.
• Experience working with container technologies such as Kubernetes.
