About The Role
As an Insights Analyst, you will be a trusted partner to business teams across Temple & Webster. You’ll translate raw customer and transactional data into simple, compelling recommendations that drive decision-making. Your ability to communicate clearly and persuasively will be central to influencing strategy, measuring initiatives, and identifying opportunities in a growing e-commerce business.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with teams across the business to deliver actionable insights and recommendations
- Present findings with clarity and confidence to influence decisions at all levels
- Translate complex e-commerce data into simple business narratives that guide strategy
- Define and track key commercial metrics to measure success and outcomes
- Collaborate with Data Engineering & BI to design dashboards and automate reporting
- You are an exceptional communicator - confident presenting insights verbally and in writing to both technical and non-technical audiences
- You have proven experience engaging with stakeholders and influencing outcomes through data-driven recommendations
- You are highly skilled in SQL and confident working with large e-commerce data sets
- You combine analytical thinking with strong commercial awareness, ensuring insights directly support business growth
- You are detail-oriented, curious, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Proven experience presenting recommendations to stakeholders and influencing business outcomes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with examples of confident presentation and storytelling
- SQL expertise, ideally with customer and transactional data in an e-commerce setting
- Experience turning raw data into measurable improvements and commercial impact
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in analytics, insights, or a related role
- Experience with Tableau, BigQuery or similar tools
- Exposure to clickstream data, experiments, or A/B testing
- Work with Australia’s leading online furniture and homewares retailer
