Accountabilities
As a Senior .NET Engineer, you will:
- Lead the migration of existing functionality from Ruby to .NET Core MVC
- Rebuild and enhance user interfaces according to design standards using Bootstrap 5
- Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and APIs
- Work closely with cross-functional teams in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and design teams to ensure seamless integration and performance
- Implement best practices for code quality, maintainability, and security
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core and MVC frameworks
- Proficiency in frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Solid experience with SQL databases and query optimization
- Practical experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
- Exposure to cloud environments such as Azure or similar platforms
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fully remote environment
- Previous experience migrating applications from legacy frameworks
- Knowledge of Bootstrap 5 and modern UI/UX design practices
