This is a high-impact role for a mobile developer passionate about building scalable, high-quality applications. You will lead the migration of a large-scale native iOS app to React Native, shaping the architecture and delivering features that enhance the mobile experience for users worldwide. The role combines deep iOS expertise with hands-on React Native experience, offering exposure to AI-powered features, premium product offerings, and growth-oriented mobile solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product, design, and QA, working in a fully remote environment across Latin America. This position is ideal for proactive engineers who thrive in a dynamic, innovative, and technically challenging environment.

Accountabilities

As a Senior Mobile Developer, you will:

  • Architect, develop, and maintain mobile applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and React Native
  • Lead the migration of a complex native iOS app to React Native, ensuring long-term maintainability and performance
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL to deliver robust mobile functionality
  • Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines to ensure app reliability and quality
  • Optimize app performance, memory usage, and responsiveness across iOS and Android platforms
  • Ensure compliance with App Store and Google Play deployment requirements
  • Collaborate with product, design, QA, and other cross-functional teams to deliver user-centered mobile experiences
  • Support SDK development and third-party integrations to extend app capabilities


Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 6+ years of professional iOS development experience with Swift and SwiftUI
  • 2+ years of recent, production-level React Native experience
  • Experience bridging native iOS modules with React Native
  • Strong understanding of mobile architectures such as MVVM, VIPER, or similar
  • Proven experience integrating RESTful APIs and GraphQL
  • Solid background in testing (XCTest, Jest, Detox) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of App Store and Google Play deployment processes
  • Track record of delivering high-quality, scalable mobile apps
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills for collaborating in distributed, cross-functional teams. Nice to have:
  • Experience leading migrations from native iOS to React Native
  • Exposure to AI-powered features or growth-focused mobile products
  • Advanced English for global collaboration
