UX Designer – subqdocs.ai
📍 Remote – Latin America (collaborating with U.S. leadership)
subqdocs.ai is building the next-generation medical software platform for dermatology practices in the U.S. We’re automating clinical documentation, coding, and workflows — turning messy, complex medical processes into simple, intuitive user experiences.
We’re a U.S.-based, well-funded start-up with a lean LATAM engineering team, and we’re looking for a UX Designer to own product design from research to high-fidelity handoff.
🔧 What You’ll Do
- Partner with product foudners and engineers to translate clinical workflows into agentic interfaces.
- Lead the design process end-to-end: research, wireframes, prototypes, user testing, and design specs.
- Create Figma and Agent (v0, Replit, etc...) based design systems that scale across web, tablet, and mobile.
- Simplify complex data and workflows into clear, usable interfaces for doctors and staff.
- Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
- Conduct lightweight user research and usability testing with clinicians and staff.
- Iterate quickly based on feedback and evolving requirements in a fast-paced start-up environment.
✅ What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of professional UX/UI design experience.
- Strong portfolio showing complex product design work (preferably SaaS or healthcare).
- Expertise in Figma (components, auto-layout, design systems).
- Ability to communicate design rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable reading, writing, and speaking English (medium level or better).
- Collaborative, self-directed, and able to thrive in a small, high-ownership team.
⭐ Nice-to-Haves
- Understanding of front-end technologies (React, TypeScript) to improve design-dev handoff.
- Experience with data-heavy interfaces (dashboards, workflows, or forms).
- Prior work in healthcare or other regulated industries.
🚀 Why Join Us
- Equity participation in a high-growth U.S. start-up.
- Fully remote-friendly with LATAM-based teammates.
- Work on a product that directly impacts doctors and patients every day.
- Small team = high autonomy and high impact.
- Opportunity to shape the product from the ground up and influence core design strategy.
- We're sprinting, can you keep up?! :)
