Python Developer – Dutch/French/English - ALTEN Belgium

The Position

As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Python Developer to join our teams and work on client projects in Belgium.

As a Python Developer, your main responsibilities will include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining Python-based applications, services, and APIs.
• Processing large datasets efficiently to deliver accurate and high-performance solutions.
• Maintaining and optimizing existing services and packages to ensure reliability and functionality.
• Collaborating with business users and team members to ensure best coding practices, including documentation, automated testing, and deployment processes.
• Conducting code reviews and supporting users in coding and system usage.
• Exploring opportunities in data science and machine learning, such as anomaly detection, sentiment analysis, or AI-based applications.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Strong proficiency in Python (preferably >3.8) and libraries such as Pandas, FastAPI, Dash
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js is a plus
• Knowledge of DevOps tools, e.g., Azure DevOps, Kubernetes
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
• Prior experience in financial services or risk management is an advantage
• Languages: Dutch, French, and English
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Rigorous, proactive, and able to work both independently and in a team
