We have recently pitched to a Belgian VC, are gaining strong early traction and are now expanding our founding engineering team.

Role Description

We are looking for a Founding Engineer specializing in Go to help us build Shadow Phantom from the ground up.

This is a remote-friendly, zero-to-one opportunity where you will:

• Design and build core backend services in Go
• Develop security features for cloud, code and infrastructure protection
• Implement network and application security best practices
• Contribute to detection, remediation and compliance mapping modules
• Collaborate with cross-functional teammates (frontend, AI, integrations)
• Shape the product architecture and influence key technical decisions

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Go
• Hands-on experience in cybersecurity, information security or application security
• Knowledge of network security, vulnerability assessment and distributed systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Collaborative team mindset and strong communication skills
• Familiarity with blockchain technology and zero trust principles (a plus)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred
