π Sodexo is seeking a visionary Lead Product Designer to shape the future of design across our global digital ecosystem. This role combines high-impact product design leadership with strategic vision, system thinking, and operational excellence. You will lead product design activities across global projects, scale design operations from global to local markets, drive adoption of our design system, and support the acceleration of AI-integrated experiences for workplace and consumer applications.

β Key Responsibilities
1. Product & Experience Design Leadership
- Drive the end-to-end design of digital and AI-enabled experiences for B2C, B2B, and B2O environments.
- Partner with product managers and tech leads to define and deliver world-class, human-centered experiences.
- Balance user needs, business priorities, and technical feasibility in design decisions.
- Promote design excellence across the customer lifecycle: awareness, discovery, usage, and advocacy.
- Champion accessibility, sustainability, and inclusive design.
- Lead by shaping team vision, setting OKRs, and nurturing a data-informed culture.
- Foster a culture of excellence and innovation, guided by strong design principles and inspired by emerging market trends.
- Grow a team internally to extend design a key and strategic topic for Sodexo
2. Design at Scale & System Thinking
- Own and evolve Sodexoβs global design system, including governance, adoption strategy, and continuous improvement.
- Lead the Design System Manager (external), engaging with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across products and geographies.
- Define scalable design methodologies, personae, journey frameworks, and best practices to be replicated across regions and business segments.
- Embed performance indicators to monitor experience quality.
3. AI & Future-Ready Experience Design
- Accelerate integration of AI and automation into design practices, workflows, and user interfaces.
- Collaborate with data and AI teams to prototype, test, and deliver new intelligent service experiences.
- Contribute to shaping the future of workplace and food experiences through advanced technologies.
4. Hands-on Craft & Design Excellence
- Deliver hands-on work is part of the job: research, wireframes, user flows, UI mockups, interaction design, prototypes, usability tests.
- Be a Figma guru, pushing the limits of the tool for prototyping, documentation, and collaboration.
- Ensure design consistency and high-quality UI/UX across all platforms and touchpoints.
5. DesignOps & Team Enablement
- Define and implement DesignOps practices to support team workflows, rituals, tools, and efficiency at global and regional levels.
- Lead and coach a distributed team of designers (today 1 internal, 3 freelancers, 2 to 3 recurrent trainees with an objective to grow and double next year β today EU based and extended in factories), growing capabilities and inspiring creativity and accountability.
- Build a global design community of practice, nurturing peer learning, mentorship, and shared vision.
6. Strategic Co-Design & Client Engagement (eventual support)
- Bring clarity and creativity to complex challenges through systems thinking and storytelling.
π οΈ Skill & competencies :
- 12+ years of experience in UX/UI, product design, or service design with significant hands-on delivery.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating leadership in complex digital product design, including design systems.
- Deep expertise in Figma, prototyping, and design collaboration.
- Solid experience deploying data analytics tools & methodologies with demonstrated value (Contentsquare, Anmplitude, GA4, ...)
- Proven experience scaling design practices and tools in a global organization.
- Experience working across consumer and enterprise (B2C, B2B) digital products.
- Experience with DesignOps or scaling design in a matrixed or regional/global environment.
- Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
- Ability to travel occasionally to lead immersions and workshops.
- Strong product design and management knowledge
- User-centric & Business-oriented balanced : Design every solution to serve real user needs and deliver measurable business value, combining user insights with strategic objectives.
- Exceptional customer and course sensitivity.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting data, figures, and processes.
- Outstanding facilitation skills, adept at leading co-creation sessions and workshops to foster innovation and collaborative problem-solving.
- Proficient in organizing and structuring complex project initiatives.
- Excellent oral communication and the ability to interact with decision-makers effectively.
- Skilled in the formalization of deliverables with a keen eye for graphic design and marketing.
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration capabilities.
- Expert in stakeholder management, able to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
- Proactive and adaptive, skilled in navigating ambiguity and leading change in fast-paced environments.
