Backend Engineer (Golang) (Remote - EU)

This role offers the opportunity to join a highly skilled software team working on API-first, SaaS products for the blockchain and staking ecosystem. You will develop and maintain high-performance backend services, contribute to architectural and technical decisions, and collaborate closely with infrastructure, product, and smart-contract teams. The position allows you to directly impact the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of a complex platform that processes large volumes of blockchain and staking data daily. Ideal candidates are hands-on engineers who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about Web3 and decentralized systems.

Accountabilities

As a Backend Engineer (Golang), you will:

• Contribute to architectural decisions and the technical strategy of backend services
• Design, implement, and maintain software features across Golang services, including APIs, data aggregators, and blockchain transaction modules
• Participate in automation, testing, CI/CD processes, and code reviews to ensure high-quality delivery
• Ensure seamless communication between services, minimal downtime, and fast recovery in production
• Maintain compliance with software security standards, including SOC 2
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on product roadmaps and technical challenges
• Proactively suggest and implement continuous improvements to the platform and engineering practices
  
  
  

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years of experience as a backend software engineer designing, building, and deploying infrastructure-related or API-based products
• 1+ year of professional Golang experience in production environments
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, as well as CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and ability to independently follow through on technical tasks
• Pragmatic approach to engineering and ownership of delivered code
• Proven interest in Web3, blockchain, and cryptocurrency
• Fluency in both French and English

• Knowledge of blockchain protocols, staking, and DeFi
• Experience working within certified environments (SOC2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HIPAA, etc.)
