The Role
We are looking for a Product Manager who can help shape and drive Aware’s customer experience. You will work at the intersection of health, technology, and customer engagement: translating medical insights into intuitive digital journeys that keep customers engaged for life.
This is a role for someone who thrives in a startup environment — hands-on, collaborative, and comfortable with both strategic thinking and rolling up their sleeves to execute. Initially, this role will report into the CEO and will manage one working student.
Your Responsibilities
Customer-Centric Product Development
Gather and prioritize user requirements, working closely with management, engineering and medical experts.
Vision into Execution
Translate business strategy into product roadmaps, detailed requirements, and measurable outcomes.
Engagement & Retention Focus
Design features that drive recurring usage and long-term retention — from onboarding to repeat testing cycles.
Agile Delivery
Lead backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.
AI-Native Working
Leverage generative AI tools effectively — from ideation and research to design assistance, content creation, and analysis.

We help people engage with their health over the long term, not just in single snapshots. With ~20 team members today, we’re building for scale — and product is at the center of it.

Your profile
- 5+ years experience as a Product Manager (health-tech, D2C subscription, or similar fields a plus).
- Proven ability to manage a product across its lifecycle — from ideation through launch and iteration. Solid technical understanding (web & app development, APIs, integrations).
- Experience in agile methodologies and working with cross-functional teams.
- High level of familiarity and proven ability with generative AI tools (e.g., for research, prototyping, content, workflows).
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset; able to link product features to KPIs and retention levers. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent communication skills. Fluent English (C1+), German nice to have.
- Berlin-based or willing to relocate.
- A structured thinker who can balance long-term vision with immediate execution.
- Someone who can translate complex/medical topics into simple, empathetic customer experiences.
- A product person who sees beyond features to engagement loops and retention levers.
- A team player who builds trust across functions, but is also willing to take ownership and lead.
- An open, feedback-driven mindset.
