We're hiring a Digital Product Designer (Contract) - Remote from Germany
Are you a passionate Digital Product Designer who loves creating intuitive and impactful digital experiences?
Join an international team working on a 12-month project for a leading German client.
We're looking for someone who is based in Germany (ideally Stuttgart) and is eager to collaborate with distributed teams in China and Vienna. This is a backfill position starting as soon as possible (ideally before November 3rd).
π What you'll do
- Understand user needs and project goals to design user-friendly and engaging digital interfaces - from concept to delivery.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and final designs (mainly in Figma).
- Collaborate closely with business owners, developers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with the company's goals and user needs.
- Conduct usability tests (using tools like Maze) and incorporate feedback to improve the design.
- Present and defend design decisions based on the overall Customer Experience (CX) strategy.
- Document design processes and support the delivery phase to ensure the final product reflects your designs.
πΌ What we're looking for
Must-haves:
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Proven ability to translate research insights into product improvements and new features.
- Fast and proficient with Figma wireframing and advanced prototyping.
- Experience with usability testing and stakeholder management in large organizations.
- Comfortable working on complex B2B products and discussing solutions with tech leads.
- Excellent English communication skills, time management, and collaboration.
Nice-to-haves:
- German language skills.
- Experience using Condens, Maze, or research design.
- Background in customer-centric ways of working and B2B manufacturing sector.
