Why This Role Exists
MWPC (Marketing, Wen, Portals and Commerce) IT is accelerating the adoption of AI to improve how Marketing plans, creates, localizes and measures digital engagement. This role turns ideas into secure, reliable AI services that integrate with our Marketing web platforms and CRM ecosystem, supporting ongoing programs like application rationalization (AppRat) and content platform modernization.
What You Will Do
- Design & build AI services for Marketing use‑cases (e.g., content assistance, knowledge retrieval, campaign analysis), including prompt orchestration, retrieval‑augmented generation, guardrails and evaluation pipelines.
- Integrate AI components with MWPC platforms (web/CMS and analytics) and our Marketing CRM stack (Salesforce/GPCRM), collaborating with architecture, data and marketing operations teams. 5
- Productionize models & workflows using engineering best practices: versioning, CI/CD, configuration management, automated testing, observability and performance tuning.
- Partner on AppRat execution by replacing redundant utilities with shared AI capabilities and by instrumenting measurable outcomes (cost, performance, quality). 234
- Contribute to solution design: author lightweight diagrams, sequence/data‑flow views and integration contracts for services you build; participate in design and code reviews.
- Data stewardship & compliance: apply privacy, security and data‑classification controls appropriate to Marketing data; follow internal standards for model and data governance.
- Continuous improvement: prototype new patterns (e.g., embeddings stores, function‑calling, tool use) and share findings via demos, documentation and patterns libraries.

- Pursuing Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or other related fields.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience integrating AI with Salesforce (GPCRM) objects/processes (leads/contacts, campaigns, content).
- Familiarity with web content platforms/CMS used by Marketing and with site/application rationalization workstreams (AppRat).
- Knowledge of RAG architectures, vector databases, prompt management/telemetry, and safety frameworks (PII redaction, grounding, toxicity filters).
- Hands on with cloud services (Azure/AWS), containers and infrastructure as code.
- Experience with analytics/telemetry for measuring campaign or content outcomes.
- Hybrid at One Albert Quay, Cork, with focused collaboration windows for workshops, demos and retrospectives.
- Lightweight docs‑first engineering (diagrams, READMEs) and shared patterns for reuse.
- Partner mindset with Marketing—co‑design solutions, measure business value, iterate quickly.
