DevOps Engineer

Now we are looking for a new DevOps Engineer to join us!

Role:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for service delivery, reliability, scalability, monitoring, and helping define all this as immutable infrastructure-as-code. You are expected to work directly under company CTO within a two-person devops team.

Our technology stack is built in Node.js, MongoDB, RethinkDB, Elasticsearch, .NET Core, RabbitMQ. We containerize and deploy with Kubernetes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Initiate and oversee complete infrastructure migration from on-prem to cloud (with a focus on scalability.)

• Oversee collaboration with hosting and cloud service provider

• Deploy and maintain critical applications on cloud-native microservices architecture

• Implement automation, effective monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code

• Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments

• Support and work alongside a cross-functional engineering team

• Iterate on best practices to increase the quality & velocity of deployments

• Sustain and improve the process of knowledge sharing throughout the organization

Required Qualifications:

• Experience maintaining and deploying highly available, fault-tolerant systems at scale

• Practical experience with Docker containerization and clustering (Kubernetes/ECS)

• Proficiency with AWS (e.g., IAM, EC2, VPC, ELB, ALB, EKS, Autoscaling, Lambda)

• Experience implementations CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins, Travis CI, Gitlab CI)

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation)

• A working understanding of code and script (Node.js, .NET Core)

• Effective communication skills

• Strong cybersecurity fundamentals (IAM, Infrastructure, CI/CD Pipeline, Application security, Incident response, Compliance)

• A drive towards automating repetitive tasks (e.g. scripting via Bash, Python, Ruby, etc.)

Monthly salary range for this position: 3290€ - 6440€ (before tax deduction). The final offer will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate.
