We’re looking for a Frontend Developer to become the first in-house frontend hire at Cocoroco. You’ll work closely with our co-founder and agency partners to take ownership of our platform’s frontend—and help shape its technical future.

This is a foundational role where you’ll get the freedom and responsibility to define best practices, set up workflows, and build features that directly impact thousands of users around the world.

• Lead frontend development across our web applications.
• Work with product, design, and backend teams to bring features to life.
• Create a frontend roadmap focused on performance, scalability, and UX.
• Review and write clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines for frontend deployments.
• Optimize frontend performance and ensure application reliability.
• Troubleshoot and improve live production systems.
• Contribute to team culture and knowledge-sharing as we grow.
  

• 5+ years of experience with mainstream frontend frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React.
• Experience building and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and frontend-backend integrations.
• Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization.
• Bonus: Familiarity with AI/ML concepts or generative AI in frontend.

• Proactive problem solver with a critical mindset.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
• Self-starter with a desire to shape technical culture.
  

• Experience with marketplaces or AI-driven platforms.
• Understanding of generative AI and its application in UX/UI.
