  • Advise stakeholders on storage, Windows infrastructure, and potential technology choices
  • Maintain vendor relations, and coordinate with connected parties in the broader network environment
  • Make infrastructure improvements using PaaS (Platform as a Service) practices, infrastructure‑as‑code tools (e.g. Ansible, GitLab), and Windows Server lifecycle management

  • Bachelor’s level or equivalent thinking and working level in system administration or related field
  • At least 3 years’ recent experience with NetApp/ONTAP clustering, CIFS/NFS file services, replication (e.g. SnapMirror), client connectivity, and monitoring tools (e.g. Active IQ)
  • Solid knowledge of certificates, firewall, compute, storage, and networking infrastructure (3+ years)

  • Broader knowledge of both front‑end and backend components in Windows server‑based infrastructure

What to Expect

  • Two days per week at our office in Groningen; rest of the time remote by arrangement
  • Periodic on‑call rotation for urgent tasks or incident response
  • You may be asked in your application or interview to explain travel distance if residing far (e.g. over ~1.5 hours commute)
