We are looking for a passionate and driven Continental Europe HR Coordinator to join our dynamic Human Resources Team, based in Amsterdam, Frankfurt or Barcelona, for an exciting 12-month placement. In this role, you'll support HR operations across Continental Europe Full Service & Luxury hotels and EMEA Focused Service hotels, impacting over 260 hotels, from Lisbon to Istanbul, Stockholm to Johannesburg.

What Will You Be Doing?

As the Continental Europe HR Coordinator, you'll be a key player in driving HR projects and supporting strategic initiatives across Hilton’s Full-Service & Luxury Hotels and EMEA Focused Service Hotels.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead Regional HR Projects: Spearhead and advocate for regional initiatives, ensuring seamless implementation of new systems and processes.
  • Communication & Coordination: Prepare professional communications and ensure accuracy in all correspondence from the Senior Director of HR.
  • Strategy & Reporting: Manage HR calendars, track project progress, and deliver insightful reports on HR performance across the region.
  • Surveys & Talent Initiatives: Coordinate surveys like Great Place to Work (GPTW), analyze results, and follow up on actions to boost employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • System Support: Provide regional support for HR systems (including Oracle HCM Cloud) and ensure data accuracy and training for stakeholders.
  • Support Leadership Development: Partner with the talent & leadership development team to roll out initiatives focused on talent management and diversity, such as women in leadership.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Collaborate with the C&B team to streamline data requests and align processes across regions.
  • TM Exchange Program: Lead the coordination of Hilton’s TM Exchange Program, fostering leadership development through cross-hotel learning experiences.
  • General HR Support: Serve as the central point of contact for HR queries from hotel HR managers and directors across the region.
  • You will also assist with administrative tasks, including managing the calendar and travel arrangements for the Senior Director of HR, submitting monthly expense reports, and optimizing HR processes.


Who Are We Looking For?

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to bring a mix of energy, passion, and organizational excellence. You have a proven background in HR and ideally hospitality for at least 1-2 years. Next you are/have:

  • Self-Starter: You are an extremely organized, detail-oriented team player who loves taking ownership of your work.
  • Positive Attitude: You bring a high level of positive energy and enthusiasm to every task.
  • Strong Communication Skills: You excel at written and verbal communication, and can effectively handle multiple projects at once.
  • Proven Problem-Solver: You can handle sensitive HR issues with diplomacy, patience, and tact.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and able to quickly learn HR systems.
  • Languages: Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Travel-Ready: Occasional travel may be required as part of this exciting, hands-on role.
