Tek Cloudsoul Ltd is looking for a skilled Network Engineer to join our IT operations team in Basel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity for users and systems. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise in networking technologies, and the ability to work both independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Install, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, and WLAN infrastructure.
• Manage firewalls, switches, routers, and VPN connections.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues to ensure availability and reliability.
• Provide second and third-level support for escalated network issues.
• Implement and maintain network security protocols and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with desktop support, system administrators, and vendors to resolve issues.
• Document network topologies, processes, and troubleshooting steps in ticketing systems.
• Support project-based initiatives, including network upgrades and migrations.
• Provide after-hours or weekend support for critical incidents or scheduled maintenance.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Certifications preferred: CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+ (or equivalent).
• 2–3 years of professional experience in enterprise network engineering/support.
• Strong knowledge of:
• TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs.
• Routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
• Network security solutions (firewalls, IDS/IPS, enterprise antivirus).
• Wi-Fi configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with monitoring and diagnostic tools (SolarWinds, Wireshark, Nagios, or similar).
• Familiarity with cloud networking (Azure, AWS, or similar) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Flexible and adaptable to fast-paced and changing IT environments.
