About Us

At Taroko, we’re a fast-moving global venture studio building and scaling transformative digital products across industries. We are now incubating a new SaaS platform designed to guide individuals and families through complex life transitions and legal processes. Inspired by Silicon Valley startup culture and founded in Taipei City, our team of engineers, designers, and product experts doesn’t just build products—we craft experiences, design solutions, and back startups that are redefining industries with cutting-edge, market-disrupting technology.

We pride ourselves on a culture that values curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning. If you’re passionate about shaping a product from the ground up in a supportive, fast-paced environment, this is your chance to make a real impact on people’s lives.

Why We’re Different

We aren’t chasing short-term hype or burning VC money to find product-market fit. We’re profitable, organized, and here for the long run. We invest in sustainable growth, genuine innovation, and an ownership mentality that ensures our team can do things differently—and be rewarded for it. By building products in-house, we have the freedom to focus on creating meaningful, lasting value for users.

Job Purpose

We are seeking a Product Manager to own a brand-new consumer-facing SaaS platform from day one, driving it from concept to MVP, through product-market fit, and onward to scale. This is a rare opportunity to lead the full business lifecycle, shaping a product that combines technology, content, and user experience to make complex personal and legal transitions clear, approachable, and manageable.

As the mini-CEO of this product, you will define strategy, conduct market research, and oversee all aspects of MVP development, while also designing financial models, establishing pricing strategies, and crafting a go-to-market plan that meets the nuanced needs of users navigating sensitive life events. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys learning through hands-on experience, exploring different aspects of product development, and taking initiative across a variety of challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Drive end-to-end MVP development, from competitor research, user insights to design, pricing, financial modeling, and launch.
  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy to achieve product market fit, drive product adoption and sustainable revenue growth.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and executive leadership to refine the product vision and roadmap.
  • Analyze and optimize key user lifecycle metrics (activation, retention, resurrection phases) to maximize lifetime value (LTV) and reduce churn.
  • Run agile sprints, translate requirements into actionable development tasks, and ensure a frictionless, engaging user experience.
  • Maintain a user-obsessed mindset, ensuring the product is intuitive, accessible, and genuinely helpful.
  • Apply high emotional intelligence in internal and external interactions to foster strong relationships with stakeholders.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience defining, shipping, and iterating SaaS products, ideally in consumer services or legal-tech adjacent industries.
  • Hands-on ability to clearly communicate product strategy and roadmap, turning ideas into prototypes or wireframe with tools such as Figma, Miro, or similar.
  • Strategic mindset for prioritization and phasing, balancing business goals with technical impact and staying focused on what drives the most value.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset to test and iterate, with comfort operating in ambiguity and working with lean resources.
  • Proven track record of growth experiments, A/B testing, funnel analysis, and product optimization.
  • Skilled in full-lifecycle product strategy and data analytics, covering the user journey from acquisition to conversion and retention.
  • Hands-on experience designing and optimizing pricing models that balance user adoption with revenue and profit goals, including freemium, free trial, and subscriptions.
  • Startup experience or experience working with outsourced engineering agents.
  • Strong strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, and excellent communication skills.

Benefits
  • Career growth: Be part of a product from inception and shape its future.
  • Competitive compensation: We offer a top-of-market salary that truly reflects your expertise, contributions, and impact.
  • Generous time off: 15 days paid vacation, 5 days paid sick annually, plus public holidays.
  • Remote-first culture: Work fully remotely.
  • Inclusive environment: We value appreciation, respect, inclusion, and fun!
  • Community and connection: Enjoy seasonal gifts, team-building activities, and opportunities to celebrate milestones together.
