Machine Learning Product Owner (Data&AI, Machine Learning Team)

As a Machine Learning Product Owner in the Data&AI department, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering innovative machine learning solutions that drive our business. Acting as a link between technical teams and business stakeholders, you’ll ensure our machine learning projects align with company goals, create real value, and stay ahead in a fast-paced environment. Whether it’s personalized recommendations or sales forecasting, your work will make sure our machine learning models are effective, impactful, and ready to scale.

What you’ll have to do:

  • Define and prioritize the machine learning product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, and Product, to translate business requirements into actionable machine learning solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for machine learning applications across the business, from recommendations and personalization to forecasting and optimization.
  • Manage the lifecycle of machine learning products, from ideation and development to deployment and monitoring.
  • Communicate product vision, progress, and results to both technical teams and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to establish clear requirements for model training, testing, and deployment pipelines.
  • Monitor performance metrics, user feedback, and business impact to refine machine learning products over time.

What makes you a good fit:

  • Have a degree in a related field (Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent).
  • In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology
  • Have a basic understanding of machine learning concepts and SQL, and how they apply to solving business problems.
  • Demonstrate experience in product management or ownership, ideally in data-driven or AI-focused projects.
  • Have excellent communication skills, able to simplify complex technical ideas for business stakeholders and help technical teams understand business priorities.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on making data-driven decisions.
  • Be skilled at managing multiple projects and priorities, balancing short-term needs with long-term goals.
  • Be familiar with the general workflow of machine learning projects and tools, even if not hands-on (cloud ML platforms).
  • Understand how data pipelines and architecture work to ensure smooth integration of machine learning products.
  • Be collaborative, thriving in a team environment where alignment and cooperation are key to success.
