We are currently looking for a Middle/Senior RAN Backoffice engineers with advance knowledge of telecommunications networks including Wireless (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G), Ethernet, IP, TDM.
Responsible for engineering design, planning and implementation of new RAN solutions/configurations, controllers (BSC/RNC) and 3rd/4th level troubleshooting.
As part of our team, you will:
- Troubleshoot critical and complex cases (both standard and emergency types) involving multiple network elements;
- Prepare and implement major/critical risk work orders, mainly in maintenance interval;
- Software upgrade of BSC, RNC, Cloud Infrastructure;
- Automate repetitive tasks, participate in meetings with our advanced software team;
- Next level support for RAN BackOffice juniors.
Required Skills/Experience
- At least 4 years professional work experience;
- Advanced knowledge of wireless networks (2G,3G,4G,5G);
- Advanced MS Office, Excel/Word skills;
- Advanced knowledge of IP/MPLS;
- Knowledge of at least one programming language;
- Linux/Unix good skills and experience;
- Knowledge of SQL;
- Independence and initiative, willingness to learn and share their knowledge;
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, physical sciences or mathematics from an accredited university;
- Resilience and team spirit;
- Advanced English language skills;
- High capacity to organize, analyse, and plan in order to meet deadlines and present data clearly and precisely.
Nice to know/have
- Advanced communications and leadership skills to interact/coordinate investigations;
- Knowledge of hypervisors, like OpenStack, KVM, VMware;
- The basics of automation;
- Cisco and/or Juniper certifications or equivalent proven experience;
- A flexible, positive and creative attitude to change.
