About The Role

In this role, you will be assigned to develop cutting-edge infotainment systems for one of our clients in Gothenburg area. Your tasks may include hands-on development in complex systems, optimizing performance, implementing code, verifying and testing software components. From application layer development to performance tuning and debugging at system level - your expertise will ensure robust and fully functional Android infotainment experiences.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Software Engineer with solid experience in Android development within the automotive domain. You likely have a B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent education.

You will thrive in this role if you have:

  • At least 8 years of experience in software development with a solid understanding of Java/Kotlin or C++, and common Android design patterns.
  • Proficiency in working within a software development environment using tools such as Git, Jenkins, Jira, and Artifactory.
  • Experience with software quality assurance techniques such as unit testing and integration testing using relevant tools, e.g., Espresso, JUnit.
  • Experience in developing radio and media applications
  • Good communication skills in both English and Swedish, spoken and written, are required
