About This Opportunity

The Radio Unit Software Tech Management team keeps the entire system solution together for all SW running on the radio. We drive the radio architecture for SW, we drive TA studies, and we contribute to Solution teams and early phases in product and feature definition.

We strives to own the high-level architecture for all the SW running inside the Radio Unit. Carrier Handling has been a weak area and we want to strengthen our competence in the area to be able to include this in the full radio unit SW architecture.

You are joining a very highly skilled team with a wide experience for mobile systems with many opportunities for learning the system. The radio product is greatly increasing the feature level with open fronthaul and new service platforms. There will be many opportunities for learning and growth in the area of choice.

What You Will Do

• Coordinating RU Carrier Handling from signal processing in LowPHY, carrier RF generation in RFF to carrier directivity in ANF.
• This can be achieved in various places:
• Contributing to the Radio Product development projects in Opportunity and System phase.
• Working with architecture descriptions and updates.
• Working with Tech Area studies.
• Driving some activities.
• Representing RU SW in a solution team.
• Cooperating with other units to find solutions that benefit the radio.
  
  

The Skills You Bring

• +5 years of experience developing SW for Radio access network or built-in-SW for radio products for mobile communication. Preferably specifically in the Carrier Handling/CAT/RCC area.
• Knowledge of the RAN architecture and the ways of working.
• High competence in the RU Carrier Handling area from LowPHY to Antenna.
