🛠️ Role Overview:

We’re looking for an Android Technical Lead to join a global team building a next-generation digital investment platform. This flagship initiative will empower millions of users with seamless access to diverse asset types and personalized investment portfolios. As a Technical Lead, you’ll combine hands-on Android expertise with leadership skills — guiding a development team, driving technical decisions, and ensuring delivery of secure, scalable, and user-friendly mobile applications.

Location: Cracow, hybrid (6x per month in office)

English: B2+

Type of contract: B2B, with conversion to permanent after 6 months

👨 💻Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor the Android development team, ensuring high-quality delivery to global standards

• Provide architectural guidance and technical direction across the mobile platform

• Collaborate with Product Owners, UX designers, and engineers in an agile, cross-functional team

• Design, implement, and optimize Android applications using modern technology stacks (Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, Jetpack)

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, supporting automation and testing practices

• Ensure performance, scalability, and security of mobile applications

• Actively reduce technical debt and drive continuous improvement initiatives

• Contribute to planning, estimation, and technical documentation

📝 Requirements:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in a technical lead or senior Android role

• Expert knowledge of Android development (Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, Android Studio)

• Strong understanding of Android architecture components, Jetpack libraries, and Material Design

• Proven leadership skills, with experience mentoring developers and guiding technical decisions

• Proficiency with REST APIs, JSON, dependency injection (Dagger, Hilt), and reactive programming (RxJava, Coroutines)

• Solid experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI), Git, and automated testing (unit/UI)

• Strong knowledge of Android security best practices, performance optimization, and memory management

• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
