OBSS is looking for a Data Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to delivering high-performance data warehouse and data mart solutions. You will work on challenging projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize ETL processes, complex SQL queries, and core data warehouse architectures. By leveraging your expertise in SSIS, performance tuning, and advanced data modeling techniques, you will help build scalable and reliable solutions that drive real business value.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse and data mart solutions
• Implement and optimize ETL processes with SSIS and related tools
• Apply denormalization techniques and data modeling best practices to improve performance
• Conduct query performance tuning and optimize database operations
• Manage indexing, partitioning, table switching, and clustered columnstore indexes (CCI) for efficient data processing
• Write, review, and optimize complex SQL queries
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into robust data solutions
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability in all processes
• Work in alignment with Agile methodologies in cross-functional teams

Qualifications / Technical Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in Data Warehouse and Data Engineering
• Advanced knowledge of SSIS
• Strong understanding of Data Mart structures and denormalization techniques
• Experience in query performance tuning and optimization
• Solid knowledge of fundamental data warehouse concepts such as indexing, partitioning, table switching, and clustered columnstore indexes (CCI)
• Ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries
• Familiarity with banking systems is a strong plus
