Position Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst (Medior/Senior) with strong Product Owner (PO) skills to join our Delivery Team on a temporary staffing basis. The Business Analyst acts as a key liaison between business stakeholders and the delivery team, ensuring that business needs are translated into high-quality solutions.
You will work closely with the Chief Product Owner (to whom you report), the Product Owner, and the Solution Architect to define, document, and validate requirements, while supporting the team throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Liaison
- Develop and maintain expertise in business processes within your domain.
- Build and foster relationships with end users to capture and understand needs.
- Share relevant information with colleagues in the Delivery Team.
- Process Analysis & Optimization
- Document business processes (e.g., workflow diagrams).
- Validate processes with end users and identify gaps, risks, or inefficiencies.
- Propose improvements, including automation opportunities, and demonstrate their business value.
- Align recommendations with the Product Owner.
- User Stories
- Create and continuously refine user stories, including functional and non-functional requirements, testing approach, and acceptance criteria.
- Document and clarify user stories to resolve conflicts or ambiguities.
- Support the Delivery Team with implementation details when needed.
- Ensure validation of user stories with the Product Owner.
- Actively participate in team ceremonies.
- Quality Assurance
- Ensure user stories are testable and meet quality standards.
- Contribute to the definition and validation of functional and integration test approaches.
- Collaborate in designing and executing test cases, including user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Organize UAT sessions with end users, ensuring the right stakeholders are involved at the right time.
- Change Management
- Plan and coordinate the implementation journey for new solutions.
- Work with the Product Owner to identify stakeholders and ensure proper support for adoption.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer across impacted teams (end users, expert teams, sales, external partners, etc.).
- Organize training sessions and workshops.
- Engage with a Change Management Expert when necessary.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst (Medior/Senior) with exposure to Product Owner responsibilities.
- Strict requirement: Knowledge of Non-Life Insurance processes and products.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into clear, validated requirements.
- Experience with Agile delivery, user stories, and testing processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive and collaborative mindset with a focus on delivering business value.
